American Colors’ mission is to manufacture and provide customer-focused solutions with industry-driven products. A key part of supporting our mission is operating under socially responsible principles and sustainable practices. American colors will:
Focus on our customers’ needs and strive to understand market needs.
Act with honesty and integrity, avoiding actual or apparent conflicts between personal and professional relationships; promote this conduct among employees, and provide accountability for adherence.
Respect the confidentiality of information acquired during the normal course of business, except when authorized or otherwise legally obligated to disclose such information.
Comply with applicable governmental laws, rules, and regulations.
While obtaining raw materials at the right price, specification, quantity, and quality is crucial, American Colors recognizes that suppliers are essential in supporting and continually improving our sustainable practices. We expect existing and potential suppliers to operate responsibly and conduct business in a manner that aligns with American Colors’ principles and values. In doing so, we expect all of our suppliers, vendors, and contractors to:
Embrace environmental stewardship, including considering local, regional, and global environmental impact when making business decisions.
Maintain safe and healthy work environments for employees, including work without harassment or violence.
Supply no materials produced directly or indirectly through forced labor, child labor, or human trafficking.
Adhere to ethical principles while conducting business.
Choose to procure materials from suppliers that have a code of conduct, corporate governance, social responsibility, and apply sustainable practices.
Work in good faith with American Colors to identify data-driven areas of improvement toward more sustainable opertions.
American Colors will continuously monitor that our suppliers are operting in relation to the social and environmental aspects of procurement and include on the supplier performance report issued yearly to look for ways to improve and strengthen supplier relationships.
